Week of August 4th 2024

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.  Colossians 4:6

As you forgive so shall you be forgiven.

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.  1 Thessalonians

Kids will be going back to school this week.  May there be more bus drivers and more teachers, Lord.  Keep the children safe, may they be open to learning new things!  Bless all involved in their lives of learning!

Let’s all pray for those effected by the water and storm-bless them, provide for them, help them, Lord, as it continues up North.

Checklist for encouragers:  Pray continually.  God is always with you…talk to Him.

We always need plastic grocery bags for the ministry.  Please flatten them if you have a chance.

Darren – has moved up on the transplant list; pray for him to get his liver transplant before October!  Yes, Lord, please!

Julie – knee surgery on the other leg; is now with PT; not as smooth as with the first knee but the pain is decreasing every day; is working on stamina; recovery is a marathon; give her strength and stamina, Lord; take away the pain and bless and heal this faithful servant.

Stephany – 54 – terminal cancer; is in the final stages; soothe her, Lord; let her feel Your presence at all times!   May she hang on to You!

Gene – 81 – is not feeling well; may his meds help him and heal this faithful servant, Lord.  Thank You!

Kelly Pr. – her dear mother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family; she and her dad had been married 65 years and she will be missed.  Bless the family in this time of mourning.

Andy – 53 – committed suicide; left behind wife and family;  Lord, bless his family, soothe them, let them also come to You!  Calm their spirits, bless them, Lord, in this devastating time!

Wanda – 73 – that doctors find a way to treat her blood cancer!  Yes, Lord, we ask this of You!

Debby – skin cancer on her nose; it has been removed!  Heal her, Lord!

Michael A. asks for prayers as he feels his health in general is deteriorating.  Bless this servant, Lord.

Luis – the man who had the pallets fall on him is now up and taking steps, starting to walk!  Thank YOU, Lord!   His mother says he is a strong man and he will recover from this.  Thank You for his faith, also, Lord!

Christopher – pray for stability in his life; for the sick and shut-ins.

Tina – healing; she is 5 months pregnant but was in pain; she would go to the emergency room now.

Debbie – will start doing the ‘forgiveness’ through the Celebration Recovery.

Timothy – to make right decisions; to get a job and use the money wisely

Elijah – his son Skyler is on the path against the law and is lost spiritually.  Elijah is asking for Skyler to surrender and get help!

Patrick – that we have a blessed day filled with the Holy Spirit.

Tony Y. is still hurting over all; needs to wait a few months before surgery because of his heart.  He is a servant of Yours, Lord.

LeVance is hurting all over; he sees the doctor in September; heal this faithful servant, Lord.

Teresa is still ill but is starting to get some better; she did see a doctor.  She, too, is a faithful servant at the ministry.

We thank all of you for praying over these requests.
