One thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13 – 14
There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you so that you will always be with me where I am. John 14:2-3
Don’t forget the blankets and comforters, etc.! We can always use them and especially with this cold weather for our homeless brothers and sisters. Update: we got two more at church Sunday. Keep them coming! Also, men’s warm clothing! Thank you!
There is a family….mother, father, daughter and son. One day the son said he had met a boy who was deaf and mute. The family looked into it and took him into their home. They got him lessons so he could read lips and learn to speak himself. Now several years later at Christmas I saw him and asked what he was doing now and he said….he was going to a university in Washington, D.C. especially for the deaf! God bless this family. They have given a whole new life to this young man…..a future! To me this was truly Christmas!! This family put their Christianity into practice!!! Woo hoo!
Lord, You know the situation with so many of our homeless siblings….so many have mental health issues and can’t keep a job; some are addicted, some lose their jobs and then run out of money and have no place to go. Some employers also take advantage of them I am learning…pay them under the table, pay very little and nothing is paid in and when they become disabled or want Social Security they get little or nothing since nothing was paid in. Or they get a little disability check which isn’t enough to rent a room. Watch over them, Lord. Please help us find a room for people…..
Christy – had the flu but is getting better now. She lives up north in the cold and snow. Keep her healthy, Lord.

Nancy – 71 – has the new virus, also, but is now at home.
James Montgomery – had a stroke and isn’t recovering well. Heal him Lord!
