Week of September 1st 2024

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him.  He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.  Psalm 62:5

We actually need 1,000 plastic grocery bags a week down at the ministry,  Please tell all your friends, family, small groups, colleagues!  Every week!  Thank you so much.

Ray S. – one of our faithful male volunteers who is 80 and does a lot of our picking up at the Food Bank, Publix, etc. and lives in Riverview needs a vehicle.  If you have one you no longer use but that you have kept up and it doesn’t need new parts/repairs and you are willing to donate it to him he would be very grateful to get it.  Contact the ministry on ways you can donate.  Thank you!!

Christine – long time drug addict; pray she finds peace in Christ and a renewed desire for deliverance

Pastor Matthew has COVID; pray for his healing

Barbara K, founder of Amazing Love – surgery on the broken bones in her elbow went well; she will get PT and OT for a while; was back working at the ministry this week.

Brad – vascular surgery went well; will have other treatment/surgery on the 18th.; has had a lot this last year;  Lord, we pray for his complete healing, take away his pain and may these treatments/surgeries help him heal!  

For the John Natale family; mid-seventies he died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday morning.  Comfort his wife and family.

Shawn – had a stroke 2 months ago and is in a wheelchair; he can walk a bit holding on to it; hopes to get into Tampa Hope; it isn’t wheelchair accessible where he is now.  Yes, Lord, please provide for him. 

Darrin had his liver transplant today and the procedure went well.  He will be in the ICU a few days.

Debbie – goes to see a surgeon on the 19th. to see about shoulder surgery; goes to the V.A. 

Taylor – experiencing issues with his spine and legs; went in for a consult Tuesday; we pray for a path going forward that they can take care of it.

Angelo – needs a bus pass to go to St. Petersburg to get a birth certificate so he can get a job.

Moses – having issues getting his papers so he can work; he does have something temporarily and is happy for that.

Johnny – health, family; pray for Amazing Love; his knees are both swelling up and they want to do surgery; he does have insurance; he thanks God for past blessings he has received!  Halleluah!

Quilvio -deficiencies in his skin and has pigment discoloration; he talked a bit and said he had given me his purpose for me and educated me more in knowing him.  God bless him.

Jackson – wants a better place to live; it is so expensive; has good health; has family but lost his brother in June

Jim – all his bones and joints and back have issues; no medicine or treatment help; bless him, Lord, take away his pain and be in him.  Heal him!

Tom D. – suffered a 2nd. heart attack Tuesday; is resting comfortably in the hospital; turned 71 Wednesday.  Update; is now home from the hospital.  Thank you Lord.

Pastor Guy is resting at home after a gallbladder surgery on Sunday.  Heal him, comfort him.  

Tim just found out that his brother Jim has lung cancer.  May he get the treatment he needs, Lord!

John T. – recovery bladder surgery

Barney B. – foot infection – in hospital in Virginia

Vince – COVID

Lola – husband’s funeral is today, Friday; bless her and comfort her, Father

Lee Vance – is having kidney problems and will see the doctor; bless this faithful, hard working servant and heal him, Lord!

Luis – the man the pallets fell on went home from the hospital this past Monday and is healing step by step; the silver lining is that he is now reading the bible to his children daily.  Praise Yahweh!

Marsha – her sister passed away last week; comfort her and let her feel Your presence, Lord!
